Qualification Required:

  • You should be at least 20+ years old.
  • You should have at least a Diploma or preferably a Degree.
  • It is compulsory for you to attend specific trainings before officially signing our Agency contract.

6 Simple steps to become our Sales Agent.


Step 1 – Ask for a representative

You may also visit any of our Prudential Assurance Uganda Ltd offices to speak to any of our available Leaders/Recruiters to guide you further on the application process.

Step 2 – Documentation:

Following is the list of documents required for verification and registration:

  1. Age Proof-National ID/Passport ID/Driver’s License
  2. Address proof-A sketch Map of the proximity of personal residence
  3. Education proof-UCE, UACE, Diploma/Degree
  4. Updated CV showing your work experience, history and 3 professional Referees
  5. Passport size photograph
  6. Must have a personal TIN (Tax Identification Number)
  7. Must have a personal Bank Account Number

 

Step 3 – Regulatory Training:

We provide you with special support and additional training to help you understand insurance better. We help you prepare for the Insurance Institute of Uganda’s Certificate of Proficiency exams (COP). This training can be done at your convenience, either online or at our training centers.

Step 4 – Rookie Development Program (RDP):

Once you receive your Appointment Letter, you will be taken through our induction program. The program is designed to help you understand the Prudential Assurance Uganda Limited’s brand and our wide range of products. It will equip you with the right selling pitches, product communications and tools that make selling easier.

Step 5 – Passing the COP Exams:

Once you successfully clear the Insurance Institute of Uganda’s examination, the agency appointment process is initiated.

Step 6 – Leadership Appointment Opportunities:

On successful completion of the agency process, you will receive an updated Agency Agreement/Contract from Prudential Assurance Uganda Ltd and you will be authorized to sell our products and services.
