Roles and Responsibilities of a Delivery Agent:
• Delivery Management:
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and packages to customers.
• Verify customer orders before dispatching and ensure proper documentation for delivery.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and any issues that may arise.
Maintain the delivery vehicle/bike in good condition by performing basic checks and regular cleaning.
• Report any vehicle/Bike issues promptly to the management for repairs.
• Customer Service:
• Provide exceptional customer service by being polite, professional, and helpful.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns effectively, and escalate them when necessary.
• Inventory Handling:
• Assist in managing and organizing the warehouse, ensuring all products are properly labeled and ready for delivery.
• Ensure proper documentation and updating of inventory records during each delivery.
• Documentation and Reporting:
Accurately complete delivery reports, including the delivery date, time, customer signature, and any discrepancies.
• Submit daily reports on the status of deliveries, including any challenges faced or delays.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the products during transport.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with the warehouse and sales team to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in loading and unloading products when necessary.
