Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager Distillery at Kakira Sugar Limited, Kakira,Uganda. The Manager Distillery will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the distillery, managing production schedules, ensuring quality control, and leading a team of distillery staff. Additionally, the Manager Distillery will be involved in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in distillery operations, production management, and quality control
- Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management
- Leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Understanding of safety and environmental regulations in the distillery industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field with DIFAT.
